E3 2005: Revolution Images

Wii News | We've got more images of the Revolution, including the logo.
We've got some more shots of the Revolution in our media panel, including the logo. We wish a real model of the console was available, instead of just an image we would prefer an actual working model, but this will have to do now.

PALGN will have more information on the Revolution as it becomes available.

Finally -- something of a no-brainer given the popularity of the Wave Bird pads -- Revolution's still-secret controller will be completely wireless. Controllers for Microsoft's Xbox 360 are also wireless. Upon hearing this news, puppies everywhere let out a collective cry.
so does this mean the controller ports under the flap are specifically for gamecube controllers?

Yes, I think so. What happens with Wavebird? I forget what the controller-port connector looks like exactly, but will it fit with the flap in the way?

I think it will, because the flap goes down (the console is kind of upside down in the photo)

The console itself is looking slicktacular! I like the selection of colours too. The only thing is the logo... I'm hoping it's not the final logo... there's something I can't put my finger on that's bothering me about it.
