Nintendo Store Update - 03/02/12

Wii News | Going sky high once more.

This week's Nintendo Store update is actually quite well-stocked, with four games spread across its download services. The latest WiiWare offering sees some zany racecar action in the form of TNT Racers. Those still looking for their fill of gaming can look forward to three new handheld downloads this week. Kid Icarus has received a 3D remake and can now be found in the Nintendo 3DS eShop, while the DSiWare front looks set for some action with Castle Conquer Against.

A racing game with a few differences, TNT Racers has drivers cometing against one another with the aid of items which can be picked up on the track. They can truly mean the difference between victory and defeat, even when the leader appears to be in an unassailable position.

Title: 3D Classics: Kid Icarus
System: 3DS Software
Price: $9.00

A 3D version of the NES classic, Kid Icarus will see players assume the role of Pit, who must travel through the underworld in order to defeat the evil Medusa in Metroid-esque action. Kid Icarus can also be downloaded for free for those players who meet the conditions of the Club Nintendo promotion.
