Nintendo Store Update - 07/10/2011

Wii News | It's a trap!
This week's Nintendo Store Update sees an absence of any Wii content, instead focusing on Nintendo's handheld wares. Within the 3DS eShop, Game Boy title Catrap can be found on the Virtual Cnosole, while the DSi will have you in tension with Extreme Hangman 2.

Title: Catrap
System: Game Boy (Virtual Console)
Price: $4.50

Catrap (also known in some circles as Pitman) combines both elements of puzzle games and platforming. It involves the player characters, two cat-like creatures, finding their way out of traps while evading other perils within a level. Interestingly enough, it was one of the first titles to allow players to reverse the flow of time as a game mechanic.

Title: Extreme Hangman 2
System: DSiWare
Price: $3.00

Clearly so extreme that it couldn't be kept down, Extreme Hangman 2 combines classic hangman action with zany animations if you are unable to guess the words correctly.
