The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword special edition confirmed for an Australian release

Wii News | Cue 'item get' sound.
A couple of weeks ago, PALGN reported that Nintendo are planning to release a special edition of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword comprised of the game, its soundtrack and a limited edition golden Wii remote. At the time we were unsure as to whether it would see an Australian release.

Thankfully, Nintendo have continued their Zelda love for Australia and have confirmed to PALGN in a media release that we shall indeed see the very same special edition reach our shores. Though a date for the game's release in Australia is yet to be set, Nintendo have left no doubt that we will indeed be on an equal footing when it comes to those extra bits that make buying a game worthwhile. Nintendo have also pointed out that the Wii remote is gold in colour and does not actually contain any of the precious mineral itself.

Nintendo fails to mention the entire pack costs $70 in the US and the game alone will likely be more than that here icon_razz.gif

I am totally stoked.

I dont even care if they delay it until December the 7th (I made that date up). Theres so many damn games to play and I am still only 50 hours or so into the (all time brilliant) Xenoblade import anyway!

By the time I play Skyrim, Uncharted 3, Battlefield 3 (ongoing), Dark Souls and Mario Land 3D I wont care.

Preordered at EB a month ago. YIEEEEEEEEEEW.
