Win one of five copies of Xenoblade Chronicles

Wii Feature | Your final chance to grab this JRPG legacy.
This competition has now closed. Winners will be announced shortly.

Xenoblade Chronicles, a role-playing game of epic proportions from Nintendo and developer Monolift Soft, is slated for release in Australia on September 1. We are very happy to announce that PALGN has teamed with Nintendo Australia to give away five (5) copies of the game.

Xenoblade Chronicles takes players high above the ocean, where two gigantic gods stand locked in an eternal stalemate, joined by crossed swords. Sprawling lands have spawned from the corpses of these dormant monsters, giving rise to human civilisations. However, mechanised creatures seek to purify the lands of all traces of humanity, forcing players and their band of adventurers out on a quest for survival. Xenoblade Chronicles features a gigantic world with a highly detailed role-playing system and charming cast, all packaged in over 100 hours of enthralling gameplay. For the complete lowdown on the game, be sure to head over to our in-depth preview.

Entry into this competition is very easy - all you have to do is answer two questions: What is the name of the blade on the cover of Xenoblade Chronicles, and who is the game's main character? Email your answers along with name and address to xenoblade@palgn.com.au. We will pick five (5) random winners who answer the questions correctly. Winners will each receive a copy of Xenoblade Chronicles on Wii, which also includes a limited edition soundtrack CD. To make things even better, winners will also receive a poster signed by Executive Producer, Tetsuya Takahashi.

Competition entries will close on 31st August, 2011. PALGN wishes everyone the best of luck!

Xenoblade Chronicles will be available exclusively on Wii from 1 September. PALGN would like to thank Nintendo Australia for the prizes. Remember to check back on PALGN closer to the release date for our full review of Xenoblade Chronicles.

PALGN staff members and their immediate family are ineligible to win. PALGN is not responsible for lost or damaged mail and the prizes are not redeemable for cash. We reserve the right to substitute any of the prizes but will always do so for a prize of equal value. If you have any queries regarding the competition please email them to anthony@palgn.com.au. When exactly are the winners being announced? My local JB has one copy left, and I don't really wanna miss out on this game.

I dont know the quantities Australia got, but the print run in Europe was extremely limited, as evident by Xenoblade blitzing the UK charts on release, then disappearing way down the bottom the week after. First shipment sold well above expectations it seems, which is good for Nintendo, not so good for everybody trying to find a copy.
