Xenoblade Chronicles arriving in September

Wii News | Just to make next month even busier...
Nintendo has confirmed that Xenoblade Chronicles, the massively successful RPG, is coming to Australia and New Zealand. The game will be available on 1 September, and the first production of copies will come bundled with a limited edition soundtrack on CD.

The soundtrack includes twelve original tracks written specifically for Xenoblade Chronicles, and should be available to pre-order from your local retailers right now. The game itself is said to offer more than one-hundred hours of immersive gameplay, huge beautiful locations and a genuine sense of freedom. Instead of using traditional, random battles, the combat in Xenoblade Chronicles is carried out in real time. More details can be found on the official website.

When it launches, Xenoblade Chronicles will be priced at AU$99.95 and NZ$133.22 (approximately). Also, there's going to be an eyes-on preview going up shortly, so make sure you check it out.

I'm torn.

I would really love the CD, but I don't know if the CD warrants paying double the price you can get from online stores.

Hmmmm...

^ If it helps any, you can import the full soundtrack for about $45 (the one included with the game is just a 12 track sampler).

Yeah seems a bit steep. I'll be importing for the controller I think.

Even on these last gen consoles, there are games still being released for $119.95, so it is not too bad.

It's the standard RRP for just about every single new release that Nintendo has released for the Wii.

Yeah I know, that's what I was getting at, I just worded it wrong. I should have put "still" at the front of the sentence.

Getting it, don't care about the price as you can get cheaper at JB, etc.
