Epic Mickey release for the 360 and PS3 possible

Wii News | Maybe someday...
In an interview with AtomicGamer, Warren Spector has discussed the possibility of bringing Epic Mickey to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

While the lack of motion controls on the aforementioned consoles had previously ruled out any possibility of porting the upcoming Disney game, the advent of Microsoft's Kinect and Sony's Move have since made a release possible. As Spector himself said; "Before Move and Kinect I probably would have said no, because the game is built around gesturing. Now, however, there's no reason technologically why we couldn't."

However, Spector then mentioned that a port is not currently on the cards; "That decision is really above my pay grade, and no one's asked me for a port."

It looks like gamers will need to wait and see just how successful the Wii version of Epic Mickey is before any more news is revealed. For the moment though, we can look forward to the game's release, slated for September.

Planning on re-buying a Wii for this game so I don't really mind if they don't rush out a port, I would much prefer them to focus 100% on making this a great game.
