Nintendo Store Update - 23/07/2010

Wii News | Brush up on your Aerobatics...
A surprisingly trim number of games have been made available this week, with a grand total of three games across all of Nintendo's download services. The Wii brings us Aero the Acro-bat for the Virtual Console, supported by Arcade Sports: Air Hockey, Bowling, Pool, Snooker. The single DSi release is Crazy Pinball. All of this week's releases can be bought up for less than 1000 points.

Title: Aero the Acro-bat
System: SNES (Virtual Console)
Price: 800 Wii Points

Released back in 1993 for the Super Nintendo, Aero the Acrobat is a platforming game, where you control the eponymous flying mammal. A circus bat by trade, Aero steps up to stop an evil ex-clown from wreaking havoc under the big top. To combat the many foes before him, Aero is able to shoot stars and attack in the air using a spinning drill manoeuvre. Aero the Acro-bat also saw a sequel and a spin-off game featuring his rival, Zero the Kamikaze Squirrel.

Title: Arcade Sports: Air Hockey, Bowling, Pool, Snooker
System: WiiWare
Price: 800 Wii Points

Arcade Sports: Air Hockey, Bowling, Pool, Snooker has been developed by Icon Games and, as may be expected by the title, allows players to pick from four different sports to play on the Wii. Each sport allows for two players and a variety of modes, including practice, versus, challenge and season mode. Gamers will also be able to unlock new equipment and trophies as the progress through the game.

Title: Crazy Pinball
System: DSiWare
Price: 500 DSi Points

With five different tables, Crazy Pinball will hopefully satisfy those looking for a pinball fix on the DSi. To mix things up a bit, players can engage in a point-scoring mode or ricochet their ball to specific spots on the table.
