Nintendo Store Update - 11/06/10

Wii News | Spoony bards for all!
Friday has rolled around in Australia once more, which means updates for the Nintendo Store are in order. On the Wii, the Virtual Console has the release of Final Fantasy II (actually IV, but more info on that below). The DSi Store is replete with updates, having released Advanced Circuits, Fieldrunners and Tales in a Box: Hidden Shapes in perspective!

Title: Final Fantasy II
System: SNES (Virtual Console)
Price: 900 Wii Points

Final Fantasy II is actually the fourth game created in the dominant RPG series, but was renamed for release outside of Japan due to Final Fantasy II and III being unavailable in the rest of the world. Final Fantasy II/IV recounts the tale of Cecil, a dark knight who takes it upon himself to stop the sinister forces of Golbez from obtaining the world's crystals of power. With twelve playable characters, unique magical abilities and a plot filled with twists, Final Fantasy II/IV marks the most significant step-up in the series since its inception.

Title: Advanced Circuits
System: DSiWare
Price: 200 DSi Points

Published by BiP media, puzzle game Advanced Circuits has you trace a path using the stylus that connects a variety of pre-existing sections of track in order for your vehicle to progress and includes sixty different levels as well as a Free Play mode.

Tower defense game Fieldrunners gives players the task of defending their home base with a variety of weapons-based towers, which include machine guns, electricity and enemy-slowing ooze. Title: Tales in a Box: Hidden shapes in perspective!
System: DSiWare
Price: 500 DSi Points

Putting a new twist on hidden object games, Tales in a Box: Hidden shapes in perspective! requires the use of the DSi's camera in order to see a scene from all angles and ferret out all of those elusive items. Set in a fantasy world, players will discover new characters and stages as they progress through the game and find every last object.
