Looking pretty average really....

The first one I played on PC & it was very pretty. Additionally, it was quite difficult/tricky, but fun at the same time

Looks like a N64 game. Truly atrocious graphics there.

And the Wii can do a lot better than that.

The shots are pretty low quality so hopefully it looks better than that. looks like a psp game.

There's ingame footage on the net...

unfortunately thats about as pretty as the game gets. I don't understand it, the wii is meant to be more powerful than the gamecube (albeit slightly) but the cube seemed to get better graphics more consistently than the rubbish the wii is copping..

I'll stick to the true next gen versions..

Why are they still using McRae's name if he's dead? Shouldn't this just be DiRT 2? I seem to recall the original DiRT had his name removed from the title in memorandum, although he was retained in the credits.

What's goin' on here then?

That's what I thought too. I remember them immediately dropping his name off the first game after his unfortunate accident. Perhaps they've done a deal with his estate.

^When it was first announced, Codemasters/Atari (at least I think Atari will publish this) said that they got permission from McRae's family to use his name in the title.

I recall PGR on the Dreamcast looking miles better than that. Incredible.

Edit: Silly me. MSR?

Playstation Qore did a feature on this game a couple of months ago,

It looks amazing on PS3,
And another step up from where Dirt left off.

Yeah. I'd like to see the HD versions of this game.

I'd say it's partly a sign of respect to a guy that did a lot for the sport of rallying.

And partly for marketing reasons icon_razz.gif
