Alex Kidd: The Lost Stars was originally released in 1988 on the Sega Master System, and is the second entry in the Alex Kidd franchise. While the original was famous for its multi-scrolling levels and allowing players to ride in vehicles, The Lost Stars is a fairly standard platformer in comparison. You simply move from left to right, jumping over enemies and obstacles until you reach the goal. Do yourself a favour and give it a miss. The game will set you back 500 points.
Secret Commando was released in 1986 and has gone through quite a few name changes. In Japan it was known as Ashura, while in America it was titled Rambo: First Blood Part II to obviously tie-in with the film of the same name. There aren't too many differences between versions, though character sprites were changed for the Western release. In the game players assume the role of a lone soldier who's on a mission to save prisoners of war. To do this you have to destroy tents which house the prisoners, as well as fight off hordes of enemies. You'll be armed with a machine gun that has unlimited ammunition and a bow which fires explosive warheads. The game will set you back 500 points.
This week also marks the first time the Australian DSi Store has been updated since the launch of the DSi console. Only one game has been added, and it's none other than Mixed Messages. The game is fairly basic - you take turns swapping a DSi console around with up to 21 players. The first player begins by creating a sentence, then the second player has to draw a picture relating to it. If you have more players with you, then you give the DSi to the next player and they have to guess what the original sentence was. Rinse and repeat for every extra player you have nearby. There's no real objective here, it's just designed as some cheap fun and to see how different the last picture is to the original sentence. The game will set you back 500 points.
