The game looks pretty dud in screens, but actually quite good in videos. Seems that's a symptom of Wii games, like Metroid Prime 3.

Wow, it looks terrible in those screens. I'll need to watch some recent gameplay footage to see what it's looking like in motion these days.

im looking forward to it even though ive had to buy an xbox for lack of stuff to do with my wii...

Looks a lot better in motion. Screens look like ass.

On the fourth screen the character models look quite good! I think this might turn out to be an awesome FPS, but I'll wait for the reviews till I decide if I want to get it.

We all know how bad Red Steel was... with graphics as bad as these the only thing that could have saved it or given it some hope in hell was the wii motion plus controls but they got yanked.

Ouch! Ever heard of the saying, "Don't judge a book by it's cover"?

Not on this site Jaws. What do people expect from this anyway, KZ2? Not even PS360 games can do KZ2.

Im very happy with it, hoping enough people will buy.

Madworld's opening week sales (about 2 days)at no.9 with 57k in US according to vgchartz. There is a small but significant mature audience on the Wii.

It's a bit stupid to compare this to Red Steel. Red Steel was a launch title with a short development time marred largely by poor pointer and motion controls.

Since then we've had at least three shooters prove that pointer controls can be awesome (Prime 3, World at War, and Heroes 2), and The Conduit has already received unanimously positive previews in regards to how precise the controls are.

It's being built as a run-and-gun action shooter. Nothing more. So far they seem to be doing a pretty good job, considering.

Y'ALL ARE GETTING YOUR HOPES UP TOO MUCH!! This ISNT goingn to be revolutionary! Its will probably materialise as a solid FPS on the Wii. Saw early gameplay footage and it plays like Halo 2 (another game that was badly overhyped).

I can guarantee this will rate in the 8.0-8.5 scores at best.

How do the controls work for this one? It would be awesome if you were able to use the hand cannons from HOTD, and there seems to be room for a nunchuck to connect from the wiimote, which could work well for movement + shooting. I think it would solve the precision problems with wii shooters... I hardly play FPS games but it seems like the logical thing for the wii.

Who's getting their hopes up? Nobody here has called it revolutionary. 8.0+ is a great score for a game. If it gets higher than an 8.0+ you can colour me impressed.

The hand cannons dont really 'do' anything as they are just a shell, so precision problems would still exist (personal controller preferences aside).

The Conduit controls like Prime 3, Heroes 2, and World at War, only with a rather incredible amount of customisation. All reports says its very fast, fluid, and responsive. If you've played any of those 3 games you should get the idea.

Sorry, maybe I'm looking at it from someone who plays PC fps and has a PS3. But surely this would only appeal to those with a Wii as their only console. I'll predict 6's and 7's at best.

@Ravenous: the controls are ridiculously customisable, to the point you can move all the HUD elements around and even turn them transparent or invisible in addition to configuring all button/joystick/etc controls.

I agree with ?oe?oe.

Next we're gonna have people writing "WTF FAKE!" every time we get new screen shots up.
