I might get this, if only to fill the gap between when the LBP beta ends, and when LBP and Far Cry 2 come out. Plus Lego games are always fun.

I've been playing this for the last few days and I think it's probably the best Lego game so far. If you're a Batman fan or a Lego game fan, you won't be dissapointed.

So it's out in the US? How many levels are there, compared to the other games? Is there the same amount of collectibles? And would it take about the same length to finish, 20 hours?

Alfred looks positively evil!

.. also, why is Bane giving The Penguin a jolly rogering? Getting some use out of that gimp mask is he?

There's 30 levels not including any secret levels, I'm not sure about that, haven't got that far. It looks like the same amount of collectibles as other Lego games. And you get to play as both the Heoes and the villians which is pretty cool getting to see the story from both sides.
As for length, I don't time myself while playing, I like to take my time and enjoy the game so I wouldn't have a clue how long other Lego games have taken me to finish because I end up playing them for ages.

Awesome. Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga is by far my fave but I did enjoy Lego Indy (which I managed to fight through and complete 100% despite the terrible glitches and bugs in the Wii version). Let's hope there isnt a repeat of this with Lego Bats.

Felon, how does it compare to LEGO Indy? I didn't quite get into Indy as I did with Star Wars since the characters just weren't as memorible and the story played out a little meh. I'm not expecting it to be radically different, just enough to make it a more appealing experiance.

It normally tells you in Lego games how long you have played for. And 30 levels? Both Star Wars games had 18 each, and togethor they took around 50 hours, so this might take like 40 hours or so? Sounds like a definite buy for me.

Well for a start, the characters are a lot more interesting to collect, there's some obscure ones from the comics aswell and one thing that's pretty cool is before a level, it gives you a little backstory on the characters.
The story isn't anything too flash, the usual escaped super villians causing mayhem thing but it's told really well in the Lego way with no voices.
The graphics are probably a bit better but I wouldn't say it's a huge difference.
I'd say compared to Lego Indy, it's a lot more addictive to play, and probably a bit bigger. Plus you get to drive the Batmobile! SWEET!

I take it you own the 360 version Felonioustub?

I thought it was confirmed release for this Wednesday? Did it get pushed back a week again? That's the 3rd release date I've seen now icon_sad.gif

I forgot one thing too, it's remote play compatible so you can play Lego Batman on your PSP.

@ Sploggers:

Yeah, it's been shifting between release dates for a while. I thought it was supposed to be released this week as well, but it's been delayed by one more week.

If you remote play, does it still have the same graphics? That is pretty interesting, if you remote play can you go somewhere else, drive somewhere, and still play the game? And whatever you do, will it save to the PS3 game?
If you use remote play, it's just the same as playing on your TV, it's not like a mini game or anything, it's the full game so it saves as usual and unlocks everything on the PS3 as you go. As for the graphics, I'm not sure about the tech details like screen res and such but it still looks the same too me, it's probably a lower res but because it's on a small screen it doesn't seem to make it look any worse.
All the reviews I've read on the game never seem to mention anything about remote play but in my opinion, it's a big feature and for someone that owns both a 360 and a PS3 then I think it makes a difference between which one you'd go for because even though I don't use remote play a lot, this gives me a reason to and it really shows how it can be used in the future.

The last Lego game I even bothered playing was Lego Star Wars 2.

Will wait till I can get the game for cheap before I buy it.
