Cursed Mountain announced

Wii News | An exclusive survival horror game for the Wii.
Deep Silver has today announced that it is developing a new survival horror game exclusively for the Wii called Cursed Mountain.

In the game, players assume the role of a mountaineer who embarks on a quest in the Himalayas to find his lost brother. As players travel through the mountains, they’ll discover an ancient curse that has plunged their surroundings into a Shadow World. Here, the souls of the dead are stuck in limbo, causing ghosts and demons to block your path.

At this stage not much else has been revealed, though enemies will include undead villagers, pilgrims, mountaineers and even Buddhist monks. Combat will also be ‘gesture-based’, while environments have been boasted to feature ‘rich visuals and breathtaking views’.

Cursed Mountain is scheduled to be released in 2009. You can check out some concept act in the media panel below.
