Big Kahuna Party heading to WiiWare

Wii News | Based on the popular PC series.
Reflexive Entertainment has today announced that it will be releasing Big Kahuna Party on Nintendo’s WiiWare service.

Big Kahuna Party is a multiplayer focused version of Reflexive’s popular PC puzzler franchise Big Kahuna. In most of the games, players are required to break boxes by creating chains of objects such as starfish or shells. The WiiWare version will continue the staple oceanic theme and feature both cooperative and competitive multiplayer modes for 2-4 players. Big Kahuna Party also introduces explosives to the series, which clear entire sections of the playing grid. Additionally, there will be a total of 99 levels to play through, as well as the option to use the Wii remote by itself or with the Nunchuck attachment.

Big Kahuna Party is scheduled to be released later this year. We’ll report back once it becomes available on the Australian Wii Shop. Until then, you can check out the first screenshots in the media panel below.
