E3 2008: My Aquarium announced for WiiWare

Wii News | Seems a bit fishy to us.
Hudson Entertainment have announced today that they’re currently developing a new WiiWare title called My Aquarium.

In My Aquarium, players are given their own virtual fish tank which can be customised by changing the lighting, background, gravel and even plant life. Players will also be able to combine both fresh and salt-water fish in the one tank without any worries, as well as interact with them and learn more about each specie using the Fish Database. Additionally, the game will utilise the Wii Weather Channel and change tank conditions depending on your local forecast. Best of all, My Aquarium is entirely focused on relaxation, so you don’t need to worry about maintenance issues such as water temperature.

My Aquarium is scheduled to be released later this year.

I would have preferred a proper virtual pet simulator, rather than another glorified screensaver. Seriously, when was the last decent virtual fish simulator? MOPYfish came out in the mid nineties, bring something like him back!
