Little King's Story announced for Wii

Wii News | Little King, big dream.
Rising Star Games have revealed today, via a press release, that they will be releasing a new fantasy adventure RPG on the Wii called Little King’s Story. The publisher has also confirmed that the game was previously known as Project O, and will be heading to PAL regions in Q1 of 2009.

Little King’s Story follows the adventure of a shy young boy named Corobo. One day, Corobo stumbles across a mysterious crown in the forest, and discovers that it gives him the ability to make people follow his orders. Not too long after, a bull-knight named Howzer appears and informs Corobo that he’s become the King of the village. Corobo must now watch over his village and turn it from a small town into a noble kingdom.

Little King’s Story will apparently feature elements from life-simulation, real-time strategy and adventure games, and will utilise the Wii remote as a royal sceptre. In the game, players will have to manage different aspects of their kingdom including getting their townspeople to dig for treasure, build new buildings and better their community. Starting out as just a small village, players will also need to defeat rival nations and expand their territory, with the ultimate goal of creating a single unified kingdom.

I've been following this game since TGS (when it was known as Project O or King Story). The game looks sweeeeeet. It's like a mix between Pikmin, Harvest Moon and MLAAK (I was gonna say Sim City but Life as a King fits better).

Good on you Rising Star, first NMH now this, you do PAL territories proud.
