"For me, you are a gamer or non-gamer," claims Fischer. This certainly mirrors Nintendo's approach in recent years of creating so-called 'bridge games' which target both seasoned gamers and the unexperienced. "Someone who is fifty-years old who only plays Brain Training, but plays it like a core gamer is a core gamer," Fischer added.
Fischer also acknowledged a level of stigma around the term casual. "I don't like this word casual so much. Because people consider that casual needs to be something easy."
