Pitfall: The Big Adventure confirmed

Activision has announced that it is releasing a Pitfall game exclusively for the Wii, the game will be called Pitfall: The Big Adventure and is currently in development at Edge of Reality. The studio previously worked on Pitfall: The Lost Expedition a few years ago.

"What could be more fun than using the Wii Remote to swing on a vine over blood thirsty crocodiles as retro-cool Pitfall Harry?!" asked Dave Oxford, Activision Publishing. The Big Adventure is set in the Peruvian jungle and will feature a mixture of action and puzzle solving. There will be over 60 levels in different environments such as thick rainforests, dark caves and snowy mountain tops.
