Wii Fit bargain round-up

Wii News | The cheapest prices for the personal trainer that fits under your couch.
If you’ve been putting off paying those gym membership fees, then you may have been eagerly awaiting the release of Nintendo’s Wii Fit. Well, that day will arrive tommorow and so you don’t have to pay the full retail price of $149.95, we’ve compiled a list of the current specials retailers are offering.

First up, Myer One members should be receiving a voucher in the mail shortly that will allow them to purchase Wii Fit for the insane price of $109. Unfortunately, this is an exclusive deal for Myer One card holders, so if you’re not a member you may want to call up your family and friends. If you’re like us and don’t have any contacts, then Big W are offering the game for $118, while Kmart and JB Hi-Fi are charging the slightly more expensive price of $119.

Those looking for a trade-in deal should check out JB Hi-Fi, who currently have a promotion where you’ll get Wii Fit for FREE if you trade-in four Wii games. As always, it would be a great idea to read their exclusions list before jogging into your local store.

Finally, if you think it’s time that you jump on the Wii bandwagon, Myer are offering a bundle pack which includes a Wii console, a copy of Wii Fit and an accessory pack for $488. Once again though, this is exclusive to Myer One members and there are currently no alternatives available.

For a complete list of specials, please look below. Remember to check out our weekly Australian Gaming Bargains feature, where we list the sales currently on offer across Aussie retailers, regardless if they encourage you to do exercise routines or become a couch potato!

Is that JB deal confirmed?

The JB trade in deal is confirmed via their website. A JB employee on the Xbox world forum (who has been correct with other deals) said the $119 is a last minute change from their catelogue. EDIT: It will last until Wednesday.

I'll add the EB trade in deal in a bit.

I have never felt as inadequate as a man before. Seeing that price made me genuinely happy and I’ll be leaving work early to pick this up tomorrow. I can’t believe Yoga alone is selling me such an expensive peripheral. What have I become?

Horay for JB! Ok, so… If anybody else is picking this up at Pitt St JB and you think you see another PALGN person, (like me) we’ll covertly notify each other through bird calls.

BRING IT ON!

For those that don’t want to embarrass themselves in public, DStore.com.au is selling it for $129.95 plus postage. To St Leonards its $5.95 shipping which really isn’t that bad considering the weight.

I only became aware of the Big W price seconds after I put the article up for validation. I must have forgot to change the price in the list, plus I had Aus bargains to change as well.

My Docket for my Wii Fit Preorder @ JB says $149.95 still, so would I still be able to get the $119 price?

I'm pretty certain JB Hi-Fi Chatswood are offering 10% off storewide tomorrow only all day. Its a Westfield Chatswood promotion and JB are part of it...i don't have the brochure anymore but i remember it reading "Thursday May 8th, 9am-9pm".

So if the standard JB price is $119, you can get it at this store for $107.10 after the markdown.

Whoever this user is, he is quite correct. The price for Wii Fit is $119, however after Wednesday, 14th May 2008 the price will go up to $134 as stated in the current catalogue.

The trade in four Wii games to get Wii Fit for free will be in effect till the end of the catalogue or till further notice.
