Nintendo officially confirms Club Nintendo launch

Wii News | Begins today.

Nintendo has officially confirmed what we reported last week, that the Club Nintendo loyalty program has made its way to Australia.

The service has launched with Mario Kart Wii, with each version of Mario Kart Wii including a unique Club Nintendo code. By heading to the Club Nintendo website gamers can register their product and earn stars for their purchases. These stars can be used to make purchases on premium items.

The full Club Nintendo website hasn't launched just yet, but Nintendo will be sending out an email when the website launches completely. The next title to include a Club Nintendo code will be Wii Fit, which is out on May the 8th.

I hope that theres good stuff available, i mean wii points is nice but i can get them in a store, i want the stuff that you can only get through club nintendo. But i have a feeling it will be like the european one i.e. not as good as the japanese one

I'm guessing all the first party ones will definitely, and maybe some of the top-tier third-party titles if we're lucky.

What i want to know is will us ausies be able to go back and register games that the uk has been able to like Mario Galaxy?

On a side note, im already registerd and much loving for mario kart wii!

You know if, Nintendo are smart and generous, they would reward PAL gamers with lots of Star points with Brawl for this disgraceful wait..
