Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince announced

Wii News | More Harry set for this year.

EA has announced that they will be releasing a videogame tie in for the Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince movie, which is set for release later this year.

“Working with EA, we look forward to offering fans a compelling Harry Potter video game, one which captures the thrilling storyline and high visual quality of the movie,” said Scott Johnson, Vice President, Business Development for Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. “The adherence to the rich fiction is a trademark of this franchise and with Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince fans will experience the most authentic and enjoyable game in the series to date.”

The game will be released on the Wii, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, PSP and Nintendo DS. The first image of the game can be found in our media panel.

Heres hoping its as good as Order of the Phoenix because on 360 that game was quite brilliant. It was alot of fun just free roaming around Hogwarts doing what ever you really want and the missions were really quite fun, it really did capture the book and movie quite well - in my opinion much more than the first four games.
