Eledees sequel in the works?

Wii Rumour | Sparks fly as our hopes rise.
In the latest issue of Official Nintendo Magazine, via Cubed3, is a small article which mentions Konami are hard at work on a sequel to Eledees (or Elebits for the US and Japan).

Released last year on the Wii, Eledees had players roam around different environments trying to capture tiny electric creatures known as Eledees. As players caught the critters, they would power up electrical appliances such as microwaves, streetlights and phone booths, which would bring other Eledees out of hiding.

The magazine also notes that the game is due for release later this year, but no more details were provided. Until Konami officially announce the game, we’ll keep this one tagged as a rumour, but we’ll let you know as soon as new information comes our way.

Special thanks to forum member EatChildren for the heads up.

I loved eledees, what i didnt like was the 7 month wait to get it here and the absolutely atrocious voice acting.
If they do make it i hope they make the voice acting better

Id buy a sequel even if it is a bit of an overload of cute

I just received Elebits from the mail, it's a pretty good game for the price. I suggest those with the freeloader get it at ebay, I only got mine for $14US and it was a sealed copy. Cheap!
