Skate coming to the Nintendo DS and Wii

Earlier today IGN ran a story confirming that Skate would be coming to the Nintendo DS and the Wii. The article (which has since been pulled) simply confirmed the game was called Skate It and provided no further details.

With the story now pulled, it seems that either an embargo was broken or the information was simply wrong. We should know soon enough whether Skate really is coming to the Nintendo DS and the Wii and we'll report back as soon as EA comment on the rumoured title, but a version of Skate on the Wii which utilises the balance board seems like a match made in heaven.

I bet nintendo is glad they are shipping Wii motes with the rubber hand grips and stronger wrist straps now... I see a lot of people whipping and thrusting them with this game.
