Emergency Heroes races to the Wii

Wii News | Rescue people in need.
Ubisoft announced yesterday that they will be publishing a new racing game exclusively for the Wii called Emergency Heroes.

In Emergency Heroes, players assume the role of a young rescuer who drives around the city of San Alto, rescuing any citizens that are in danger. You will have access to 16 different high-tech vehicles, including a police car and fire engine, all of which are used for different purposes. San Alto will also be completely open-ended, which means you can choose where you want to go and who you want to save. Additionally, the game will support two-player co-op, and will allow players to either compete or team up with friends and family.

Emergency Heroes is expected to be released in the United States this May, with a PAL release still pending.

I'm almost 100% certain that Ambulances with zombies (at a budget price no less) would be better icon_wink.gif

This isnt based on the Fisher-Price toy range is it?

If the answer is no, then hopefully it will include some interesting mini games like defribillation, entering burning houses, cuffing techniques etc.. like a full scale taste of what the men and women of the emergency services industry experience.

Or maybe i just hope for too much from mere 'games'. Someone please shut me down.
