First details on WiiWare microtransactions

Wii News | Famitsu magazine sheds some light on the subject.
The first details for microtransaction payments across the Japanese arm of Nintendo's WiiWare service have been revealed by the popular Japanese magazine, Famitsu.

According to the latest issue of Famitsu, the first microtransaction items available will be an add-on pack for a puzzle game titled LONPOS and extensions to Namco Bandai's word puzzle game Mojipittan.

While release date and pricing details on the downloadable content is quite sketchy at this point in time, the WiiWare service is set to open its doors in Japan on March 25 and in North America on May 12. Currently, no Australian or European release date for the service has been revealed.
