Tetris coming to WiiWare

Wii News | Will feature online play and a co-op mode.
According to Cubed3, Hudson have announced that they will be releasing a new Tetris game on Nintendo’s WiiWare service.

Simply called Tetris, the game will remain largely unchanged, but will feature online play for up to six players. Interestingly, there will also be a 2-player co-op mode where both players share the same plane and clear blocks together. The game is expected to be released in Japan during their Summer period, with a PAL release still pending. We have included two screenshots in the media panel.

Make it cheap and I will bite. Co-op sounds great.

But that's not even equal to 500 Wii Points! Hudson and Nintendo would never let it slip away for that much!

CO-OP MODE?!?! *froths at mouth and has multiple orgasms*

I'm predicting 1000 or 1500 points, but I'd buy it any way. I was surprised that NES Tetris wasn't released, but if they were planning this, then it makes sense.
