In the game, players drive ‘unusually shaped’ vehicles known as SPOGS and try to collide with other racers so that they can steal the parts for their machine. The parts are then automatically added to your vehicle, enhancing your performance attributes.
Players will have around a dozen venues to race on, including traditional ovals, road courses and even stunt tracks. To mix things up a bit, courses will also feature loops and ramps, while the SPOGS Racers will be equipped six different kinds of weapons, all of which are designed to slow down your rivals and make it easier to ‘mug’ their equipment.
The article also mentions that there will be three control schemes to choose from, one of which will be similar to Excite Truck where you hold a lone Wii remote horizontally and tilt it to steer. Aside from quick races, the game will also feature a Battle Mode which is ‘essentially a non-stop series of collisions,’ and a Season Mode where you race on every track.
