GDC 08: Okami on Wii

Wii News | Worth another purchase?

Okami on the Wii was finally confirmed after a long string of rumours last year. Since then, we've found out that the game is essentially the PlayStation 2 version, but with added support for the Wii Remote.

Capcom has released the first images of the game, which make it look rather similar to the PlayStation 2 version released early last year in PAL regions, with the addition of 16:9 display support and Wii Remote fo drawing with the celestial brush. I skipped the PS2 verison but will not be missing the Wii verison. Lock me in!

I have the PS2 version but, due to various factors, haevn't played it much.

I would like to get the Wii version (mostly for widescreen), but if it's pretty much a port then I can't really justify it to myself.
