Originally released in 1990, Phantasy Star 2 has since been included in a number of different compilations, including The Phantasy Star Collection on the Game Boy Advanced and Sega Saturn, and the Sega Mega Drive Collection for the PlayStation 2 and PSP. In the game, players are introduced to world of Mota, which is regulated by a super computer known as Mother Brain. One day however, Mother Brain malfunctions and begins to cause chaos for the people of Mota. Players assume the role of Rolf, and attempt to find out what’s causing the malfunction and put a stop to Mother Brain.
The second title, Eternal Champions, is a fighting game which was originally released in 1993. In the game, nine of world’s greatest fighters have met untimely and unjust deaths, and now they fight each other in the afterlife. The ultimate victor is given the chance to battle the Eternal Champion, in hopes of reclaiming their soul and being sent back to Earth to avenge his/her death.
