THQ bringing Drawn to Life to the Wii

Wii News | We're already excited.
One of the surprise sellers for the Nintendo DS in 2007 was the pretty impressive Drawn to Life.

According to IGN, during THQ's Q3 2008 earnings conference today, THQ President Brian Farrell revealed that THQ would be bringing Drawn to Life to the Wii. Farrel said that Drawn to Life had sold "several hundred thousand units worldwide" but didn't provide any exact sales figures.

Its great news but I don't think that the Drawn to Life would work as well on the Wii. The whole drawing element is destroyed because you don't physically touch anything with the Wii mote in contrast to the stylus. You're not so much as drawing as pointing. Still it sounds interesting.

I reckon that they would make it a WiiWare game, not a full fledged one. But yeah, I'm not too sure how it would fair with the remote. Maybe DS connectivity?

They probably have to use the d-pad for pin pint accuracy. Then, what's the point? Better graphics. They better fix the platforming.

I'd get excited if more games of the Point-and-click genre (Zack and Wiki) were released for Wii, as its perfect for that, but if this a port with said 'Wii-exclusive features' that makes me 'a sad panda', a sequel is not so bad but plz no ports.

And WiiWare seems more likely to me
