To be designed and developed by Matsuura's NanaOn-Sha studios and the artistic hands of Greenblat, Majestic March sounds (do you see what we just did there) like it will take full advantage of the baton-like capabilities of the Wii Remote, asking players as the titular bandleader Major Minor himself to "keep tempo, recruit new band members and pick up valuable items."
In a quest "to create the most impressive parade ever", Major Minor promises eight "whimsical" locations, with players able to "manage obstacles" and control a "dynamic procession" of "up to 15 instruments" and "more than 25 popular marching band songs from around the world." While we're slightly disappointed to hear (do you see what we just did there) that Majestic March won't necessarily contain a funky rapping flow of any sort, we do ponder which parts of the world exactly embrace marching band songs that are deemed "popular".
With the signature Greenblat character design and art adding to the already fantastical brass, woodwind and percussion proceedings, Major Minor's Majestic March hearkens (do you see what we just did there) as eclectic as one can expect coming from the team that PaRappa built.
