Virtual Console updated

Wii News | Blink and you'll miss it - like we did.
Another week, another update, and once again only one game. As the Virtual Console approaches the 200 game mark, releases certainly have slowed down.

This week the release is the third Super Nintendo Street Fighter game, Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers. Generally considered the worst of the Street Fighter II series, Super Street Fighter added four new characters, redid a lot of the existing art and audio (generally for the worse), with slower gameplay that wasn't too great for such an old-school fighter either. The much improved Super Turbo never made it to the SNES, so for your 2D fighting action on the VC, we suggest you stick to Street Fighter II Turbo, or one of the excellent (and arcade perfect) Neo Geo fighters.

Alpha 2 was great if you can put up with the delay since it was the last game to be release on the snes.

The PC engine port of championship edition would be better because the megadrive has crap audio.

If the VC got 3do games then hopefully we could see Super Turbo. icon_cool.gif

The Neo Geo games are as bad as the SNES PAL ports. They are bordered and are slower.

Nope, I also enjoyed it. DeeJay was the man in that game.
