Factor 5 Working on new Wii title
Wii News | Let's hope their motion aint so loco this time.

Factor 5, a studio once synonymous with Nintendo, is again working on a title for the Wii. Amassing a substantial fanbase with their Star Wars based titles on both the Nintendo 64 and the Gamecube, the company showed that it was able to push technology to the limit to fantastic results - Rogue Squadron III on the Gamecube had the highest polygon count of any game on any console of the generation. However, Factor 5's recent outings proved less successful, with a massive backlash against their PS3 game Lair proving that the gaming world does not simply lap up any product that brings with it a celebrated pedigree. Criticised mainly for its interface, based around the PS3's Sixaxis, we can only imagine that the studio has learned at least a little from their first foray into the world of motion controls.
In regards to the core of the new title, Studio President Julian Eggebrecht informed IGN via phone conversation that it will not simply be recycling tech from the successful Gamecube Rogue Squadron games.
There are currently no solid details around what the game is, but rest assured, as soon as there's even the tiniest trickle of information on it we'll let you know.
