New Mario & Sonic DS screens

DS News | Who will take home the gold?
Sega have sent through some new screens for their upcoming Nintendo DS title, Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games. Although the Wii version has been available since November, the Nintendo DS version was delayed due to unspecified development issues.

In Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games, everyone’s favourite plumber and hedgehog go to the Beijing Olympics to compete against each other. Players compete in sixteen different official Olympic sports including platform diving and cycling, as well as eight Dream Events, which add power-ups and different obstacles. The DS version will apparently feature five exclusive Dream Events in the form of Dream Canoe, Dream Boxing, Dream Basketball, Dream Long Jump and Dream Shooting, and boast online ranking boards similar to the Wii version.

The new screens can be viewed in the media panel below.

Looks pretty good to me tbh, but I guess they don't have to render much apart from a stadium, characters and a few more things
