For those that haven't played the previous versions, Exit sees you take control of a hero named Mr. Esc who saves people from catastrophic events such as burning buildings and earthquakes. As you rescue people, you'll also have to lead them to safety by guiding Mr. Esc out of the hazard area. The DS version will apparently feature over 100 levels including a burning hotel and a shopping centre that is in the middle of a blizzard.
Additionally, the top screen of the DS will display a map of each level while the touch screen zooms in on the action. You'll also have the option of drawing a full pre-planned escape route for Mr. Esc or point to locations you want him to go to as you play through.
Exit DS is currently expected to release sometime in 2008. We'll report back once new information becomes available. Until then, you can check out PALGN's review of the PSP version by clicking here.
