Codemasters reveals V8 Supercars 3: Create and Race information

Codemasters has confirmed a few extra details on V8 Supercars 3: Create and Race which is coming exclusively to the Nintendo DS.

The game will include over 20 vehicles, including of course the Ford BA and the Holden Commodore. Each vehicle has its own unique handling so you will need to employ different race tactics when driving a Honda NSX in comparison to the Strana Supertruck.

The game will also allow players to play in over 30 official circuits, but if you're not happy with over thirty circuits then you'll also be able to use the Nintendo DS stylus to create your own tracks with the track editor. The game is also set to include support for up to four player multiplayer with only one cartridge required. The Nintendo DS doesn't have many decent racing titles (excluding Diddy Kong Racing and Mario Kart) so we've got our fingers crossed that V8 Supercars 3: Create and Race will be the title to keep us glued to the Nintendo DS.

i'm sure Holden is in there but we got an image of Ford in the press release, let me confirm.

Lets hope the graphics are of an acceptable quality. Ive seen 3D on DS and t aint pretty (Transformers anyone?).

Otherwise it could be a return to the good old Micromachines days for Codemasters, what with the track creator and fun racing gameplay.
