However, the differing reviews didn't really matter, the game went on to sell quite a few copies and was rather popular so it should come as no surprise that Disney Interactive Studios has announced that Spectrobes 2 is on the way. Unfortunately nothing else about the game was revealed, so once we find out more we'll report back.
