Ubisoft sets eyes on My Coach series

DS News | It's time to come off the bench.
Ubisoft has announced via a press release that they've formed an internal development team dedicated to developing casual games. The new team will expand the Petz franchise and is currently developing a series called My Coach for the Nintendo DS and the Wii.

"Ubisoft has a proven track record of publishing and creating video games for non-traditional gaming audiences, with multimillion-selling brands like Petz and Rayman," said Yves Guillemot, chief executive officer at Ubisoft. "The timing is right for us to leverage our creativity and to open up the video games market to new consumers who will be attracted by content that can help them learn, grow and feel better in an entertaining way."

The My Coach series will allow players to learn and interact. The first two titles on the way are My Word Coach and My Life Coach. My Word Coach will be available on the Nintendo DS and the Wii and will help players improve their verbal communication and vocabulary. My Life Coach is coming to the Nintendo DS and is apparantly supposed to help people who want to change daily habits.
