Metroid Prime Pinball finally coming to Europe

DS News | Only 18 months after Australia, then.
Since its launch down under in December 2005, our Australian readers may have long forgotten about the DS' Metroid Prime Pinball. Over on the other side of the globe meanwhile, European gamers are, slightly unbelievably, still waiting for the game to release.

Cue a belated ride to the rescue from Nintendo, with the company's European arm confirming today that the game would be flipping (hoho) over to Europe on June 22, complete with the Rumble Pak it came with in other regions. And yes, that's over a year-and-a-half wait. Pretty shocking.

Still, it's coming, and we'd urge our lovely European readers to head to our (now ancient) Metroid Prime Pinball review to see what we thought of it.

To have a game come out 18 months after an AUSTRALIAN release is really really pathetic.

WTH?

i seriously cannot believe this wasn't released 18 months ago.

wow that's appalling.

Im all for Australia getting DS games before Europe, cause we only need English, but this is rediculous...

Why? Can anyone (including Nintendo) answer that??

Pathetic indeed.

i had this game, traded it in after while. it was fun for a while, I dont think its that much of a big deal, this sort of thing has happened before, I believe the release date of the megadrive and the snes consoles in europe and australia were similar.

Megadrive had been out for months in europe but hadnt seen the snes, meanwhile the snes was out in aus but europe hadnt got it yet. or maybe it was the other way round. i dunno

i'm surprised that a game came out in aus before europe, too bad it wasnt a must have game

Didn't the same thing happen to warioware twisted?

Yes, the same thing did happen with WarioWare Twisted but that was due to some dispute/law over the chemicals used in the tilt technology or something in Europe.

And we're complaining about Super Paper Mario...

Hahaha, reading the headline actaully made me laugh out loud. I can't believe that this can happen! Seems liks such a random game to delay as well.
