Much like some of the the Battle Network games, it will come in multiple versions, called Pegasus, Leo and Dragon. Set in the year 22XX, Mega Man Star Force introduces all new characters. Players must vanquish a new breed of enemies that have emerged from the distant planet FM, using a pair of special "visualizer" glasses that let our hero see wave signals that are otherwise invisible to the human eye. Right. The game is set in the "real world" where the player explores towns like any RPG, and will feature card-based battles in a "virtual world" with some action elements.
Our old pal, director of brand marketing for Capcom and press release veteran Jack Symon, had this to say: "Mega Man is one of the gaming industry’s most iconic franchises and the series continues to evolve. Mega Man Star Force kicks off a new, innovative series in three versions, offering fans even more ways to enjoy their favorite blue hero."
Mega Man Star Force will feature wireless sharing via the Nintendo Wi-Fi connection, where the player can share cards and status upgrades. We've got plenty of screens and art - just click on the Media Panel and they're all yours.
