Square Enix putting on a fantasy show

DS News | It's final.
Square Enix have no shortage of Final Fantasy merchandise on the way to the public. Following the recent PAL release of the mega-hit Final Fantasy XII, the Square Enix Party 2007 will take place on May 12th and 13th, with the developer ready to announce plans for their range of current Final Fantasy software. Need an idea of how much they have going for them?

  • Final Fantasy, PlayStation Portable
  • Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings, Nintendo DS
  • Final Fantasy Tactics: Shishi Sensou, PlayStation Portable
  • Final Fantasy II, PlayStation Portable, PlayStation Portable
  • Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, PlayStation Portable
  • Final Fantasy XIII, PlayStation 3
  • Final Fantasy Agito XIII, mobile phones
  • Final Fantasy Versus XIII, PlayStation 3
  • Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, Blu-ray disc
  • Final Fantasy Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers, Wii
  • Final Fantasy Chronicles: Ring of Fates, Nintendo DS
  • Before Crisis: Final Fantasy VII, i-mode
  • Final Fantasy XI, PlayStation 2/PC/Xbox 360
Yeah. Square Enix took out a full-page ad in Japanese publication Yomiuri Shimbun announcing the event - in particular mentioning the 20th anniversary of the original Final Fantasy. Two notable exceptions to the list include Final Fantasy Tactics Advance 2 for the Nintendo DS, and another mysterious "Final Fantasy game that nobody knows about." This secretive title will debut at the Square Enix Party 2007, so we'll have extra details when the event rolls around. The suspense!

Why can't they have something like that over here in Melbourne?

I want all those PSP games to hurry up and come out AND I want remakes of Final Fantasies 7 to 9.

amen to that, when they released the demo of ffvii for the ps3 i absolutely thought that they had plans to do the remake. If they were to eventually do a remake *spasms* i dont know what i'll do with myself.

oh and thanks for mentioning that i-mode was a mobile device, i'm just looking forward to the release on the psp i'll deffinately be purchasing them.
