Spectrobes introduces two junior Planetary Patrol officers, named Rallen and Jeena, who learn of strange, prehistoric creatures called Spectrobes that possess special powers. These special creatures hold the key to defeating a vicious force known as the Krawl, that threatens to destroy the galaxy. The two heroes have to collect all of the Spectrobes they can to battle and defeat the Krawl.
The game will feature real time battle action so battles will take place in real-time, and you'll also be able to unleash a specal attack and combine forces for a combo attack. You'll find and collect new Spectrobes by searching for fossils. When a fossil is found you will use the stylus to excavate the fossils, whilst blowing air into the microphone will help clear the dust off during excavation. Your Spectrobes won't stay the same and can evolve into more powerful, fully-grown versions through training. Even more impressive is the fact that you'll be able to exchange Spectrobes and items wirelessly with other players - unfortunately, battling is limited to one-on-one ad hoc battles.
