Theme Park coming to the DS

DS News | Perfectly suited for the DS.

Gamefront is reporting that Bullfrog classic Theme Park will be coming to the Nintendo DS next year. Theme Park is a strategy title where you have to run and maintain your own theme park, keeping the patrons happy, while also ensuring that rides are safe and your park is clean.

From the images we've received so far, it looks like the game is a port of the PC version, with the top screen used for displaying your park, and with the bottom reserved for monitoring your customers, without having to exit to a menu.

We'll have more information on Theme Park DS shortly, but the first images can be found in the Media Panel.

I never really understood Themepark too well but I loved Theme Hospital.

I hope they bring Theme Hospital to DS as it won't work well on my XP computer. I've tried dosbox and all but the sounds and mouse control is just screwed.

I used to LOVE this game when it came out on the PC....i got a new addiction now though....Viva Pinata!!

I wonder if the Ds graphics will be worse/better/on par. I'm hoping for atleast on par. Also I wonder if they'll be able to squeeze in all the FMV from the rides.

I'll definitely get this one, just the right sort of game for the DS, as long as it's save-anywhere.

Thanks for the advice Karai. I have tried VDM sound though. I just couldn't get Theme Hospital to work well no matter how hard I tried. A few friends had the same problem so I'm by no means an exception.
