George Bush turns sixty...
DS News | ...and gets a present from kind old Uncle Nintendo.
We can't pretend we were aware that US President George W Bush turned sixty yesterday. But whilst we were ignorant of Dubya's big six-oh, somebody at Nintendo certainly knew about it, as the company has apparently sent the most powerful man in the World a pressie to mark the occasion - a Nintendo DS Lite and a copy of Brain Age, otherwise known as Brain Training in Australia and Europe.
The gift of Brain Age could be viewed as a rather mischievous move by Nintendo - after all, the US President is hardly known as the most observant observer in the observatory, and is infamous for mutilating the English language in speeches and interviews. Some of the best examples of Bushspeak include, "I tell people, let's don't fear the future, let's shape it" and "I aim to be a competitive nation."
We recommend Syllable Count and Reading Aloud, George, and many happy returns.
