That's a pity Theory, i was able to go to the last one & i had a great time.... & this time looks even better with it being in Erina Fair (NSW), which is way easier (i.e. shorter travelling time) for me to get to!

I've gotta practice up on my Mario Kart DS, and be ready for the New Super Mario Bros. matches, i can hardly wait!

THAT MARIO SWAG WILL BE MINE!!

Edit: just realised that the Macquarie Centre is closer to where i live than i thought! (about at 24 min drive there, as apposed to bit over an hours drive to Erina Fair! I really gotta get out more.)

Yes, one of the meets is at Indooroopilly. Now, I'm just hoping that it will be a Metroid Prime: Hunters tournament this time round.

Mario Retro Area
You can take a trip down Memory Lane and play Super Mario games from the past 20 Years in the Special Mario Retro area. You can also sample new Nintendo DS games.
Does this mean we can see Game & Watches, NES's/Famicoms, Virtual Boy's, SNES's/Super Famicoms and Gameboy's (brick, pocket, color, GBA's) {hopefully N64's, DS's and Gamecubes also) all in one area, and Mario games are playable???
If so, i am definately coming....

That'd be about right. In Scotland when the first one was on, away for the week of this one. Oh well, time to train my girlfriend so she can win me a DS Lite.

This is bs, i'm in nsw, but just happen to be a stone's throw away from Chadstone from the 29th of june for 2 weeks, so i, like almost everyone else here, jussssssssstttt miss out.

Gay.

Oh well.

If Nintendo gives out free demo game card, then I'll go.
If it is free demo via WiFi, then what's the point. Consider after your turn off your DS, the demo will be gone for good.

I'll be at Chadstone on that Saturday, on a train/bus ride away, should be sweet. Hopefully, I'll win something cool, so now I have to start practising my Mario Kart.

this is going to be interesting. I am seriously training really hard with Mario Kart at the moment. I don't really care about the Lite, i just want to **** own. The really gay thing is that the comp is also with New Super Mario Bros, but it doesn't get released in Aus until a week or so before the comp. I don't want to get the US version this time.

im gonna rock ju n00bs in indooroopilly

Sort of on topic.
The last two days there has been a bunch of DS's (possibly Lites) with Brain training available for playing in Melbourne Central.
As an added bonus, there are 'nintendo girls' around them who massage you whilst you play them...Now THATS marketing!

Once again you have your priorities all wrong. Who gives a **** if you can beat a bunch of kids and a bunch of nerds? Nobody will know who you are an hour after the competition. Now, walking away with a Lite, that's something to compete for... something you can keep for the rest of your life. A trophy of sorts, even if you never use it.

I'll be your agent and you can give the Lite to me if you win then, ok?
