E3 2006: Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime
DS News | Dragon Quest hits the DS - in a slime tank?

Rocket the Slime is one of the most popular characters in Japan's #1 game series, Dragon Quest, so much so that he's become the un-official series mascot. Finally. he's getting a game to call his own: Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime. Even better, it's looking quite good and will be released in the west! Rocket Slime is no cheap spin-off, it's an action RPG that said to have features of both Zelda and Real time strategy, as well as...Slime tanks. there's a Mario And Luigi vibe as well, because the game has a sense of humour, while still looks to be a great RPG in it's own right.
Rocket is a blue blob with stretch powers, who usually has quite a good time of it all, considering. But now that the Plob have invaded Slimenia and kidnapped all the slimes from the capital city of Boingburg, and Rocket sets out to right the wrongs. He'll meet many playable characters Apparently you can also customise your tank along the way, and then use it in local Wi-Fi multiplayer.
No PAL release date is set, but we;ll keep you posted. In the meantime, here are some screenshots!
