E3 2006: DK: King of Swing hits the DS

DS News | First swingin' screenshots.
It seems Nintendo are keen to give some of their lesser known GBA titles the DS treatment this E3, with DK: King of Swing being the latest in a series of games shown. First GBA game was focused on teaming up with a fellow Kong, using a variety of flashy techniques, jumps and abilities in order to progress through the game. Again, Donkey and Diddy will be the Kongs responsible for this swingin' adventure.

Of course, the game will take advantages of the DS' special features. For instance, four players can swing together (with Dixie and Cranky Kong stepping up). A tutorial system will also be available to aid players in getting to grips with the game - much appreciated.

No word of any release date yet, but we've got the first screenshots in the media panel.
