The press release formally announcing the year anniversary also made mention that the Nintendo DS Lite will be available in Australia, with details of the Australian launch to be announced shortly.
The Nintendo DS has a lot of titles due in the next few months that should keep the handheld selling. Nintendo made mention that Tetris DS will be available in April, followed closely by Metroid Prime Hunters, Dr. Kawashima’s Brain Training: How Old is Your Brain? and New Super Marios Bros. No exact date was announced for New Super Mario Bros, but it looks like the game will come out very close to its US counterpart.
