During a presentation at the DICE Summit in Las Vegas recently, Nintendo announced that players will be able to taunt each other about there escapades in the arena. However, this will not be happen during a match. Metroid Prime: Hunters will allow players to chat with each other in the pre and post-game lobbies. Not that everyone will be hanging around after the match but hey, it's better than nothing.
While the DS has had the requirements for voice chat, namely a microphone, speakers and the ability to connect to the Internet for a while now, Metroid Prime: Hunters will be the first DS game to put them all together to support a form of voice chat. At this point in time, there are no other games that have been announced to share this functionality.
More as it becomes available to us.
